Core competence

We control the seismic action rather than only strengthening the structure

Conventional strengthening increases the capacity of individual members. Seismic isolation and damping work differently: they change the response of the building to an earthquake, reduce transmitted accelerations and dissipate part of the input energy.

We select the technology according to the structural scheme, site seismicity, facility function and the required level of operability after the design event.

A significant part of Kazakhstan lies in seismically active zones, and building safety requirements are being tightened consistently.

LRB — lead rubber bearings

The partnership combines local engineering expertise and knowledge of Kazakhstani requirements with access to series production, test rigs and international regulatory practice.
